Seeking a Team Leader for refinery operations with at least 5 years of experience, able to supervise daily VDU operations in Erbil.
Atina Oil Company is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Team Leaders (VDU) to join our Refinery Operations Team in Erbil, Iraq. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily operation of the Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU). Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient refinery operations. Monitor process performance and optimize unit productivity. Coordinate with maintenance, laboratory, and other operational departments. Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and refinery standards. Lead, train, and support operators to achieve operational excellence. Analyze operational issues and implement corrective actions to maintain continuous plant performance. Prepare operational reports and communicate unit performance to management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in refinery operations, preferably in Vacuum Distillation Units (VDU) . Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of refinery processes and operating procedures. Proven experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving refinery operational problems, process upsets, and equipment-related issues. Ability to work under pressure and make sound operational decisions. Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
