The successful candidate will provide overall leadership and direction for Save the Children’s work in Iraq, based in Erbil. Reporting to the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe Regional Director, the Country Director will drive programme quality and impact, represent the organization with key stakeholders, and ensure effective management of resources, people, partnerships, and risk. The ideal candidate will have significant senior leadership experience within humanitarian and development settings, strong strategic and operational management skills, and a proven ability to lead diverse teams and build effective relationships with donors, government authorities, partners, and other stakeholders. English is essential, and Arabic is highly desirable.
