🌟 Job Title: Credit Control 🕒 Employment type: full time 📍 Location: Baghdad 🏢 Company: Bahari kar Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Credit Control to join our team in Baghdad and Erbil. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, reconciling balances, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining compliance with company credit policies. Key Responsibilities • Reconcile customer balances and analyze discrepancies, including data entry errors, unpaid payments, unauthorized discounts, and unprocessed returns. • Submit a daily report to the direct manager regarding customer visits and collection activities. • Coordinate with customers to confirm balances and resolve account-related disputes professionally and efficiently. • Commit to and achieve all assigned collection and performance targets. • Contribute to improving collection procedures and reducing bad debts. • Reconcile samples of free cash van invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Process write-offs for damaged goods at customer locations, particularly high-value amounts, in line with company policies. • Participate in annual inventory committees and any inventory counts required by the business. • Ensure customers and sales representatives comply with the company’s established credit and collection policies. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar role. • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Willingness to travel within assigned areas (Baghdad or Erbil).
