Al-Sunober Company is Hiring Position Title: Field Procurement Officer Location: Baghdad - Ineer Karadah. Working Days: 6 Days (Saturday to Thursday) Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Purpose We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented (Field Procurement Officer) to support our Technology procurement operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing IT equipment and services, conducting supplier visits, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring the timely procurement of technology products that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Source and procure IT hardware, software, networking equipment, and technology-related services. - Conduct field visits to suppliers and vendors to evaluate products, pricing, and service capabilities. - Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions. - Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and service agreements with suppliers. - Coordinate with the IT Department to understand technical specifications and procurement requirements. - Prepare purchase requests, purchase orders, and procurement documentation. - Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery of IT assets. - Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities. - Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approved budgets. - Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic procurement reports. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - 2–4 years of experience in IT procurement or technology purchasing. - Good understanding of IT hardware, software licensing, networking equipment, and related technologies. - Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Ability to travel for supplier visits when required.
