**📢 Job Announcement – Procurement Officer** 🏢 **Company:** DARASAN 📍 **Location:** Erbil – Taimar, Iraq Position Summary DARASAN is seeking an experienced **Procurement Officer** with a strong background in the **Oil & Gas industry** to manage local and international procurement activities and ensure the timely supply of materials and equipment. Key Responsibilities Execute local and international procurement processes. Source new suppliers and evaluate existing vendors. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms. Manage purchase orders through to delivery. Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Engineering departments. Prepare procurement and cost reports. Requirements Minimum **5 years** of procurement experience, preferably in **Oil & Gas** or refinery companies. Experience purchasing industrial materials, equipment, spare parts, and raw materials. Strong knowledge of **RFQs, Purchase Orders (POs), supplier management, and procurement procedures**. Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**; ERP system experience is an advantage. Fluent in **Arabic, Kurdish, and English** (spoken and written). Excellent communication, negotiation, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Existing network with industrial and oil sector suppliers is preferred.
