Job Title: Logistics Officer- Al Manajm Company. Department: Logistics & Transportation Reports To: Operations Manager / Logistics Manager Gender : Female. Location : Erbil - Main office Job Summary The Logistics Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all transportation activities to ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo. The role includes managing vehicle movements, tracking shipments, coordinating with drivers and clients, preparing movement schedules, maintaining transportation records, and ensuring efficient logistics operations in accordance with company procedures. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily transportation operations and cargo movements. Plan and prepare vehicle movement schedules for deliveries and collections. Ensure all cargo is delivered safely and on time according to customer requirements. Track all vehicle and cargo movements from loading until final delivery. Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to management and clients. Prepare and maintain Vehicle Access Rosters (VAR) to facilitate driver and vehicle access to customer locations or project sites. Coordinate driver schedules and ensure drivers receive accurate movement instructions. Prepare offloading schedules and coordinate with receiving locations to ensure smooth cargo unloading. Verify delivery documentation, cargo manifests, gate passes, and transportation records. Coordinate with warehouse personnel, drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations. Resolve transportation issues, delivery delays, and operational challenges promptly. Maintain accurate logistics records, movement logs, and transportation reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and customer requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency and service quality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or general trading operations. Experience in cargo transportation and fleet coordination is preferred. Good knowledge of transportation documentation and logistics processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Required Skills Excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong coordination and communication abilities. Ability to monitor and track multiple cargo movements simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules. Good reporting and documentation skills. Teamwork and customer service orientation. Language Requirements Arabic: Fluent English: Very Good (written and spoken).
