📢 Job Vacancy – Guard (Armed) 🏢 Hiring Agency: U.S. Consulate General Erbil (U.S. Mission in Iraq) 📍 Location: Erbil, Iraq 💼 Position: Guard (Armed) – Regional Security Office / Local Guard Force (RSO/LGF) 👥 Who Can Apply: All Interested Applicants 📅 Application Period: July 21, 2026 – August 4, 2026 💰 Salary & Work Schedule - Annual Salary: USD $33,104 (approximately USD $2,759 per month) - Employment Type: Full-Time - Working Hours: 40 hours per week 🎓 Education Requirement - Completion of Primary School (6th Grade) is required. 💼 Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in one of the following: - Military service - Police service - Security guarding 🌐 Language Requirements - Good working knowledge of Kurdish (may be tested). - Basic knowledge of English is required. 📋 Job Knowledge Candidates should have knowledge of: - Emergency response procedures and notification processes. - Modern security equipment and security procedures. - Local cultural norms and customs. - Host Country/DS/Mission/Post firearm policy and regulations (may be tested). ✅ Skills & Abilities - Operate security control panels, emergency alarms, and public address systems. - Use modern security and radio communication equipment. - Operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). - Use fire extinguishers and personal protective equipment, including firearms, batons, pepper spray, handcuffs, and flex cuffs. - Stand and/or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions. - Work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. - Applicants must be at least 25 years old to qualify for a weapon permit. 📩 How to Apply Apply online through the U.S. Mission recruitment portal: https://erajobs.state.gov/dos-era/vacancy/viewVacancyDetail.hms?_ref=k1jya2f3pt0&returnToSearch=true&jnum=76379&orgId=151 #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
