Job Vacancy – Accountant Al-Rayyan Company is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team at The American University of Baghdad (AUIB). Key Responsibilities: Cash control and posting accounting entries. Managing assets, inventory, and depreciation records. Handling bank reconciliations and financial transactions. Preparing invoices and processing billing activities. Managing payroll, audits, and reconciliations. Following up on payments and supporting documents. Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Preparing monthly closing entries and financial reports. Following up on advances and settlements. Supporting internal and external audit activities. Preparing and updating contract reports. Reconciling financial accounts and ensuring accurate records. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5–7 years of experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
