Hiring: Senior Accountant (Full-Cycle) Location: Erbil, Iraq Department: Finance Reports to: Chief Accountant / Country Finance Head Sprint Oil and Gas Services Iraq is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting and finance cycle for our Erbil base. This role is suited to a hands-on finance professional who can independently manage accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and treasury activities while providing full operational backup to the senior finance lead. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the general ledger and month-end/year-end closing, including monthly P&L and cash flow statements. - Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. - Monitor cash positions, prepare cash-flow forecasts, and conduct bank reconciliations. - Support VAT/tax filings, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A. - Prepare monthly MIS, RAR/SQR submissions, and quarterly, annual, audit, and HQ reports. - Ensure uninterrupted finance operations, reporting, and payments during the senior finance lead’s absence. Requirements: - ACCA qualified. - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with proven exposure to the full finance cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Hands-on proficiency in SAP (FICO) and strong Excel skills. - Working knowledge of IFRS and local VAT/tax requirements. - Oil and gas, services, or similar industry experience is preferred. - Strong analytical skills, professional ethics, confidentiality, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
