📢 WE'RE HIRING | SENIOR NETWORK PROJECT ENGINEER 📍 Location: Rumaila Oilfield, Basra, Iraq 🇮🇶 Candidates: Iraqi nationals residing in Iraq 🏢 Department: IT & Communications (IT&C) 💼 Experience: Minimum 10 years 🏗 Work: Full-time | Onsite 👤 Reports to: Network Technical Lead 🔹 ABOUT THE ROLE We seek a hands-on Senior Network Project Engineer to design, deliver and hand over complex enterprise network projects. Candidates must have a proven record of leading multi-site implementations, migrations and upgrades, with deep Cisco expertise and strong project delivery skills. 🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead network refreshes, site builds, WAN migrations and data center transformations. • Prepare HLDs, LLDs, implementation, testing, rollback and handover plans. • Design, configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching. • Deliver MPLS and Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) deployments and migrations. • Implement Cisco FTD/ASA via FMC and Palo Alto NGFW, including security policies, NAT, VPN, App-ID, User-ID and Panorama. • Configure Cisco ISE for 802.1X, MAB, profiling, posture, TrustSec and guest access. • Design Cisco ACI fabrics: APIC, tenants, EPGs, contracts, L3Out and multi-site/multi-pod. • Deploy Cisco wireless: WLCs, access points, RF surveys, roaming and security. • Support Cisco UC: CUCM, CUBE, Unity Connection, SIP trunks, voice gateways and QoS. • Lead critical changes, complex incident escalations and after-hours cutovers; coordinate with vendors and mentor engineers. 🔹 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS ✅ Experience: 10+ years in enterprise network engineering; strong record delivering complex, multi-site projects. ✅ Routing & Switching: Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS; BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VLAN, STP, VXLAN/EVPN, multicast, QoS and HSRP/VRRP. ✅ WAN: MPLS L2VPN/L3VPN, resilience, carrier handoffs; Cisco SD-WAN vManage, vSmart, vBond, policies and templates. ✅ Security: Cisco FMC, FTD/ASA and ISE; Palo Alto NGFW policies, NAT, VPN, GlobalProtect and preferably Panorama. ✅ Data Center: Cisco ACI/APIC, fabric discovery, tenant design, EPGs, contracts and L3Out. ✅ Wireless: Catalyst 9800 WLC, Meraki/Aironet access points, RF planning and troubleshooting. ✅ Unified Communications: CUCM, CUBE, Unity Connection, SIP and voice/video QoS. ✅ Project Delivery: Strong troubleshooting, change control, documentation and stakeholder communication. 🔹 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ⭐ CCNP (Enterprise/Security/Data Center); CCIE highly desirable. ⭐ Palo Alto PCNSE; Cisco Catalyst Center. ⭐ Python, Ansible, Terraform or REST API automation. ⭐ AWS/Azure networking; PMP/PRINCE2, Agile or ITIL v4. ⭐ Oil & Gas or other critical-infrastructure experience. 📩 HOW TO APPLY 📧 [email protected] Email Subject: Senior Network Project Engineer Please include your updated CV, current location, relevant projects and professional certifications.
