📢 WE ARE HIRING | Asia Aluminium Company Position: Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant Asia Aluminium Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team and support daily financial operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, proper financial records, and compliance with accounting standards. 🔹 Key Responsibilities: - Process, code, and match vendor invoices with purchase orders and goods receipt records. - Verify payment requests and supporting documents before processing payments. - Reconcile vendor statements, respond to inquiries, and resolve discrepancies. - Allocate invoices to the appropriate General Ledger (GL) accounts, cost centers, and departments. - Support month-end closing, AP accruals, aging reports, annual filings, and periodic expense reporting. - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. 🔹 Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable. - Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. - Basic knowledge of General Ledger accounting and accounting principles. - Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage. - Knowledge of Iraqi accounting standards and IFRS principles is preferred. - Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team. 📩 How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to send their updated CV to: [email protected] Email Subject: Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant 📌 Please mention the position title in the subject line of your email.
