Job Announcement – 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 Bazyan, Iraq | Full-time [**TAURUS ENERGY**](https://www.linkedin.com/company/taurus-energygroup/) for Power Generation is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance activities within the power plant. The role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of plant equipment, including turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems, through effective planning, execution, and team leadership. 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞: To plan, manage, and execute all maintenance activities across the power plant, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment. The role includes overseeing both planned and unplanned maintenance, supporting plant operations, and ensuring adherence to HSE standards and best practices. 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of all maintenance activities (preventive, predictive, and corrective) • Oversee maintenance of turbines, generators, control systems, transformers, and balance of plant (BOP) equipment • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards • Supervise daily, weekly, monthly inspections and major overhauls • Manage unplanned maintenance and respond to forced outages (24/7 on-call when required) • Plan and manage spare parts, tools, consumables, and inventory systems • Monitor maintenance costs, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives • Review and approve maintenance and inspection reports • Manage CMMS system and ensure proper documentation aligned with ISO standards • Lead troubleshooting activities and act as first responder during equipment failures • Participate in HAZOP studies, FMEA preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives • Support design reviews, lessons learned processes, and engineering feedback loops • Build strong collaboration with Operations, HSE, Supply Chain, HR, and other departments • Lead and mentor maintenance teams, ensuring performance, training, and development • Conduct regular meetings with supervisors and report key issues to Plant Manager • Ensure plant control systems and operational security procedures are implemented and maintained • Support additional projects including gas turbine expansions and combined cycle developments when required 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Education • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience • Minimum 10 years in plant industries • At least 5 years in combined cycle power plant operations Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and power plant systems • Experience with CMMS, AutoCAD, and maintenance planning tools • Ability to read and update technical drawings Interested candidates are invited to apply via the link below: [**https://lnkd.in/dW22sZNv**](https://www.linkedin.com/safety/go/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flnkd%2Ein%2FdW22sZNv&urlhash=TG7z&mt=mC_k8beMXmMk0yGuuvQeOLSNU7NMDIaMgpJi5kSf8tg-BT_rLIns1sVgR9lGIqRNodRWPAwJU-0DZqpMTN7mAWIVq_Ur6XfFJykEfiUrVX4AXBPyPPbr9_Bn3w&isSdui=true)
