Genel Energy is seeking a Junior Drilling and Completion Engineer with a B.S. in Engineering. The role requires passing IWCF Well Control certification within two years and gaining practical experience at the rig site. Fluency in Kurdish and English is mandatory.
Education: • B.S. Engineering Degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Preferred) • Native Kurdish with fluency in written and oral English Work Experience: • Zero to Two years of Drilling, Completion, Workover or Well Test experience. • Service company or rig contractor experience at engineer level would be a plus. Requirements: • Will be expected to pass the Level 4 IWCF Well Control (Surface Stack or Well Intervention) within two years of joining the team. • Willingness to spend significant time at the rig and in field operations to gain practical wellsite experience.
