Seeking a solar energy project/operation engineer with a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in the solar energy sector. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, solar design software, and English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
Solar Energy Project/Operation Engineer Location: Erbil Mandatory Qualifications: • Minimum academic requirement is a university degree. • Minimum 5 years’ work experience • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in solar energy sector. • Proficiency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic (spoken and written). • Basic computer skills and fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Valid driver’s license (required). • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. • Fluency in AutoCAD is mandatory. • Fluency in solar design software is mandatory (for example PVsyst, PVsol, OpenSolar, Sketchup Skelion, or others). • Learning-focused and inquisitive. Desired Optional Qualifications: • Experience with international companies, suppliers, or NGOs. • Experience in invoicing and procurement. • Knowledge of International Standards (ISO, IEC, etc.) • Additional certifications from professional training courses and language skill programs. • Academic or work experience abroad. • Additional languages spoken.
