Position: E & I Project Planning and Cost controller Manager Location:, Iraq An established Iraqi company operating in Basra and specializing in the energy sector is seeking an experienced E & I Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in E & I construction within the Rumaila Oil Field. Qualifications: Proven experience of [5] years in E & I project planning and cost control within the energy sector, preferably within the Rumaila Oil Field. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.). Strong financial acumen with a track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering collaboration across diverse teams and organizational levels. Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant certification is a strong advantage. - Familiarity with E & I construction practices and regulations in the energy sector is preferred. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive project plans for E & I construction projects within the Rumaila Oil Field, outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. - Utilize industry-standard project management methodologies to monitor, track, and report project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and deviations. - Develop effective strategies for resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with project goals. - Prepare accurate and detailed E & I project cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts. - Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, implementing rigorous cost control measures to prevent overruns and ensure financial targets are met. - Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders, offering valuable insights into project status, cost trends, and variance analysis.
