Lubricating moving parts, adjusting tension, and replacing worn-out components as needed. Cleaning surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identifying and diagnosing issues with elevator and escalator systems through thorough testing and analysis. Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as motors, control panels, switches, and safety mechanisms. Ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations during repairs. Modernization and Upgrades: Assisting with the modernization and upgrade projects of elevators and escalators to enhance performance and safety features. Installing new control systems, safety devices, and energy-efficient components. Emergency Response: Responding promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting issues on-site, and restoring operation as quickly as possible. Maintaining clear and concise communication with clients, providing updates on repair progress and estimated completion times. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and any additional observations. Generating comprehensive reports on equipment conditions, repairs, and recommendations for preventative maintenance. 🔍 Job Requirements: To qualify for the role, you should possess: Proven experience in elevator and escalator maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs. Thorough knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, safety protocols, and relevant industry standards. Strong technical and mechanical skills with the ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Relevant certifications or licenses in elevator and escalator maintenance (if applicable).
