Star Orbit is seeking a consultant with a Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience in decentralization, governance reform, and public administration. Must have experience in conflict/post-conflict countries and be able to work independently.
Job Announcement: - 1. Position: Consultant-Local Expert Decentralization Support 2. Location: (Anbar, Basra, Duhok, Erbil, Missan, Nineva, Salah al-Din, Sulemaniya and Thi-Qar plus Baghdad) Iraq 3. Period and Duration of the assignment/Services: 4 months (45 working days). - Academic Qualifications: • A Master's degree, preferably in public administration, public policy, law, development economics or international development. - Years of Experience: • At least 10 years of experience in law, public sector governance reform, public administration reform or restoration of government functions. • Proven record of contributing to development of decentralization policies and/or legal frameworks for local government required from other countries, preferable conflict/post conflict countries. • Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of guidance in a challenging working environment required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to foster networks and partnerships. *How to Apply: 1.
