A carton manufacturing company in Erbil is hiring fresh mechanic graduates to work as operators in the production department. Responsibilities include setting up machines, preparing paper reels, and ensuring production quality.
A well-known Carton Manufacturing company is looking for fresh mechanic graduates from to work as Operators Location: Erbil Position: Operator Salary: 1,050,000 IQDs based on qualifications Department: (Production) Reports to: (Corrugated Supervisor) Duties and Responsibilities: The conductor of the single face starting his day by: • set power on the single facer • ensure whether to make change the cassette (usually the cassette "C" in the single facer 1 and cassette 'B' in the single facer 2). • Open glue circuit (valve + pump to single + pump back) • open the steam valve • preparation of reels paper (removal of outer layers of the paper depending on the status) • Install the reel paper on the railway (for the cover and flutting) • Install the reel paper in its location on reel stands fitting with the according to its width and the middle of the machine (for the cover and flutting) • Insert the paper cover until to reach the bridge • Insert the paper flutting between corrugated rolls and in front the glue roll (start up production of single facer) • Stop the machine when the bridge is filled with single facer paper. • In the main time the Bridge start to be ful of web Single Facer the conductor of the double backer must pass the double layer of paper from the single facer through the preheated cylinder and the glue unit to meet the double baker • Following the order of “COR- Supervisor” the conductor of the single facer starts its machine "manual" mode and then automatic, align the speed of single facer with that of the corrugators line • During production, due to its views or those of “COR- Supervisor”, the conductor of the single facer makes corrections, such as: - Increase or decrease the thickness of the adhesive film “Glue Gap” - Increase or decrease the pressure of the press roll - Increase or decrease the pressure on the corrugators rolls - Adjusting the glue dump "drive side or operator side" - Increase or decrease the temperature of the paper at the preheated cylinder for the cover paper and preconditioned cylinder for the flute paper - Setting the paper tension upon the value of pressure on paper or with regulator to ensure the homogeneity of the tension on the paper. - Setting the paper quantity on the Bridge in order to the speed production, Stops of Double Facer, with regular quantity to ensure the homogeneity of the temperature on the web Single Facer. Qualification and Skills: • Graduated from Chemistry is preferred or graduated from high school. • 0-1 year of experience • Able to communicate well with co-workers • Be fluent in Kurdish, English, and Arabic (Reading, Writing and Speaking) • MS Office and Emailing • Physical fitness and able to work in the field • Practical Interested and qualified candidates may send their CVs to [email protected] with the subject line (Glu Operator).
