Seeking a drilling fluids engineer for West Qurna, Basra. Responsibilities include monitoring drilling fluids, preparing reports, and performing hydraulic calculations.
Job Opportunity – Field Drilling Fluids Engineer / Mud Engineer We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team in West Qurna – Basra. Job Responsibilities: 1. Remind drilling personnel of the hazards associated with handling drilling fluids and chemicals. 2. Provide the rig crew with instructions for mixing and treating drilling fluids. 3. Monitor the performance of solids control equipment and provide recommendations for operation and maintenance. 4. Conduct analysis of drilling fluid properties and composition. 5. Track drilling fluid volumes and report any changes (such as dilution, losses, transfers, etc.). 6. Prepare daily reports, including fluid properties, chemical consumption, product inventory, circulation data, and more. 7. Perform hydraulic calculations (such as equivalent circulating density, static density, swab and surge pressures, etc.). Job Requirements: 1. Excellent English communication skills. 2. Some experience in mud/drilling fluids-related work ( At least one year of experience). 3.
