Odoo Developer Job Reference: OD-DEV-026-3-5 Reports To: Project Manager Location: Erbil – Iraq Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: Responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo solutions, including custom modules, integrations, reports, workflows, and technical enhancements. Key Responsibilities: • Develop custom Odoo modules and features • Customize standard Odoo apps (Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, POS, HR, etc.) • Build business logic using Python and Odoo ORM • Customize views, workflows, menus, security, and reports • Develop integrations with third-party systems/APIs • Troubleshoot bugs, server errors, and performance issues • Support UAT fixes, deployment, upgrades, and technical handover • Follow coding standards, version control, and documentation practices Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in CS / IT / Software Engineering (or equivalent experience) • Minimum 3 years hands-on Odoo development experience • Strong skills in Python, PostgreSQL, Odoo ORM, XML/QWeb, JavaScript • Good understanding of Odoo architecture, security, inheritance, and deployment • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Preferred (Plus): • Official Odoo Certification (strong advantage) • Odoo Enterprise experience • Experience with POS, Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, integrations • Git, Linux, Docker, Nginx, deployment pipelines • API security / webhooks experience Additional Hiring Note: Odoo knowledge is mandatory. Minimum 3 years of Odoo development experience required. Odoo certification is a strong plus.
