Call for Applications: Research Specialist --------------- Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) is implementing the “Enhancing Public Perceptions of WROs through Research and Strategic Communication in Iraq” project, funded by the Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR). The project goal is to strengthen the resilience and visibility of Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) in Iraq by generating evidence-based narratives, countering harmful perceptions, and fostering broad-based public support for women’s engagement and leadership. This project will be implemented in Salahaddin, Ninawa, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah governorates. --------------- WEO is looking for a Research Specialist for the duration of 8 months. In coordination with WEO, the researcher’s responsibilities will be: 1. Develop a Perception Survey to Assess Public Attitudes toward WROs and Women’s Rights. 2. Design and facilitate four Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). 3. Conduct ten Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) with relevant stakeholders. 4. Develop a comprehensive research report about public perceptions of WROs and women’s rights. 5. Develop a concise narrative brief summarizing the key findings. 6. Design and facilitate a two-day strategy workshop. 7. Development of Strategic Messaging Plan, and Message Pre-Testing. 8. Technical guidance in Content Creation, Digital Campaign Design, and Dissemination. 9.
