Job Title: Cashier - Sardar Group- JLR Location: Erbil - Gullan St. About the Job: The Cashier is responsible for receiving and disbursing money for the payment of purchases in the branches. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Enter funds received from customer purchases into the cash manual register and issue a voucher. Accepts cash, cheques, or bankcards for payment; completes cheques and bank card transactions according to the established procedure. Counts money, gives change, and issues receipts for funds received. Records all receipts and invoices and keeps an updated information sheet on all payments and receipts to be reviewed by the supervisor. Performs the transfer of money into the petty cash box according to the company's policies and procedures. Maintains enough change in the cash drawer. Performs fiscal count of cash fund, balances cash drawer and receipts, and documents discrepancies. Deposits all the cash generated in the company into the bank account daily, and according to the company's policies and procedures. Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance, or a diploma degree in accounting. Prior experience in a cashier and customer service role. Attention to detail and accuracy. Beside the Kurdish language, the English and Arabic languages are must. MS. Office skills are required, especially in Excel. Familiarity with using POS systems and credit/debit card machines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service orientation. Honesty and integrity. Ability to handle transactions quickly and efficiently.
