We are currently seeking a Lab Tester to join our team and play a key role in shaping the plant’s operational success. Responsibilities Practical experience in routine quality control testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished powder products. Good understanding of gypsum and powder manufacturing processes including raw materials, calcination basics, mixing, and packaging. Ability to perform standard laboratory tests such as fineness, setting time, consistency, moisture, bulk density, and strength tests. Experience in sampling, sample preparation, testing execution, and accurate result recording. Familiarity with quality control procedures, work instructions, and basic ISO 9001 requirements. Ability to identify out-of-spec results and report deviations to supervisors or quality engineers. Experience in handling laboratory equipment, calibration checks, and maintaining lab cleanliness and safety. Ability to prepare test reports and maintain laboratory logs and records. Basic computer skills with MS Excel for data entry and reporting. Basic to intermediate English reading and writing skills (reports, procedures, test methods). Good attention to detail, discipline, and ability to work in a production-oriented environment. Required Qualifications Education & Experience Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree. 2–4 years of hands-on experience in laboratory testing within powder-based manufacturing (gypsum, dry mix, cement-based, or similar industries). Languages: Kurdish & basic to intermediate English (reading and writing). Technical Skills Basic computer skills with MS Excel for data entry and reporting. Basic to intermediate English reading and writing skills (reports, procedures, test methods). Important Note: Candidates must specify the job title in their application.
