Backend Developer Zibox is a multi-platform Web and Mobile application. The software team builds and maintain software solution. The main purpose of ZiBox is everything a user needs «in one box». The user gets a set of useful services and tools using a single account. There is also an opportunity to use services under one interface. It is aimed to make net surfing for a user much easier. Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Backend Developer who create, code and improve the server, server-side applications, and databases, combined with front-end codes, to help create a functional, seamless experience for the end user. Your role: • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. • Write clean code to develop functional web applications. • Troubleshoot and debug applications. • Perform UI tests to optimize performance. • Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications. • Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Gather and address technical and design requirements. • Provide training and support to internal teams. • Build reusable code and libraries for future use. • Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features. • Follow emerging technologies. • Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs • Oversee testing schedules in client-server environment, addressing various browsers and devices to ensure that content is displayed as intended• Produce quality code, raising the bar for team performance and speed • Recommend systems solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives Your skills: • +4 years’ experience in web and application development in general. • +3 years’ Experience with the following: PHP Laravel framework. • Ability to create support documentation for all new applications. • Base knowledge of AWS. • Experience with MVC or OOP design patterns. • Experience with writing efficient MySQL, Postgres, and PgAdmin database queries. • good experience dealing with secure REST APIs and other web services • Ability to effectively contribute to architectural discussions. • Self-learner, eager to develop domain-specific knowledge as business goals change. • Ability to work independently and in mixed teams. Working Conditions: • This is a permanent position. • Please note this role will be based at our offices in Erbil. • Working hours are 8:30 – 17:00, Sunday to Thursday. • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule If you have the skills required then please send your CV to [email protected].
