Medical Call Center Representative needed to liaise between the center and patients/customers. Responsibilities include handling calls, pre-registering patients, inputting clinical data, and maintaining records. Must attend educational seminars and meet performance targets.
Job Title: Medical Communications Technician Reports to: Patient Services Manager Location: 60 Meter Road, Mamostayan Qr., Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq Position Overview: We are looking for a Medical Call Center Representative that will be the liaison between our center and its current and potential customers and patients. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behaviour. Responsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities: - Answers/ transfers incoming phone calls when necessary - Answer and transfer incoming communication via Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook - Messenger, Email and all other social media - Pre-registers, submits reports and documents, inputs clinical data as needed for appointment, and requests films as needed - Providing results back to patient and corporate clients digitally - Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way - Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level - Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets - Responds to patient’s minor questions and concerns, and refer to supervisor when necessary, in an expedient manner - Communicates delays in appointments in a timely fashion and offers rescheduling in circumstances where delays could be significant - Coordinates with other departments staff for timely and effective care of patients - Obtains proper authorization and identification prior to release of confidential medical records and results - Uses clerical skills (e.g. filing, organizing, process incoming mail etc.) - Provides management with reports and logs when required - Performed Telesurvey and Telemarketing - Other duties include promoting the center to providers and community members Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: Education Bachelor’s degree, Bachelor’s degree in a medical field or communication is preferred Experience Fresh graduates are preferred Language Fluency in written and oral Kurdish and Arabic, good English is an advantage Working Hours 36 Hours per week Unique requirements of the job 1. Self-motivated, pro-active in dealing with issues, logical thinker with eye for details and willingness to learn 2. Numerate and IT literate with excellent working knowledge of MS office tools 3. Highly organized and a strong planner 4. Able to meet goals 5. Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence for a devoted and empathetic caring of patients 6.
