Job Title: Fire Alarm System Technician (Iraqi Only) Location: Karbala Refinery Rotation: 20/10 Salary Range: 1,680,000 – 1,960,000 IQD Job Summary: The Fire Alarm System Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of fire alarm and detection systems within Karbala Refinery. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems operate effectively and comply with applicable safety and electrical codes. Key Responsibilities: • Perform installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm and fire detection systems. • Conduct advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues. • Carry out code-compliant testing and ensure systems meet safety and operational standards. • Collaborate effectively with complex and system support teams to maintain system integrity and reliability. • Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections, maintenance, and repair activities. • Provide technical support during system integration and commissioning processes. • Ensure compliance with refinery safety regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications & Requirements: • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm systems maintenance or similar roles. • Strong knowledge of integrated systems and operational interfaces. • Proficiency in advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work under rotation schedules in refinery environments. • Local candidates from Karbala are preferred. • Please send your CV by email to [email protected], noting that any applications from non-Iraqi candidates will not be reviewed.
