Job Title: Massage Therapist Department: Recreation Reporting to: Recreation Manager Positions Supervised: None Scope and General Purpose of Job: • To be able to offer a variety of massage treatments for guests in order to promote an experience that guests will come back for time and time again. Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the work place and treatment rooms Key Duties and Responsibilities: • To conduct massage treatments for all guests in a professional, caring and attentive manner • To promote the massage oils to guests to purchase and hence increasing the revenue lines • To continually update your knowledge on types of massage treatments and products being used • To suggest ways of promoting the massage rooms in order to make more revenue • To report to duty on time; tidy, clean and wearing the correct uniform. • To make store requisitions for items needed for the Massage room • To make sure the treatment rooms are tidy and all the items available i.e. towels, candles, oils, etc. are set up prior to the entrance of the guest • To be able to perform his/her duties in a professional manner to the full satisfaction of the guests. • To observe high standards of personal hygiene. • To report any guest complaints to supervisors immediately. • To attend all briefing and meetings when required. • To adhere to all statutory and legal requirements. Customer Service • Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:- • Being attentive to guests • Accurately and promptly; understanding, anticipating and fulfilling guest requests • Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience • Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations • Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints • Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers by ensuring good inter-departmental relations. • Be able to promote the hotel products and services. • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about Erbil Cristal Hotel. • To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
