N2N is seeking a social worker to support refugees, IDPs, and locals. Responsibilities include providing educational sponsorship, collecting data, distributing educational supplies, and ensuring the progress of sponsored children.
Position: Social Worker Organization N2N (Neighbors to Nations) Location Sulaymaniyah province Category Support Positions One person (Full time) Salary/Grade Negotiable Deadline for applying June 25th, 2021 Gender Female (only) Neighbor to Nations (N2N) is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization with headquarter in Monroe, Washington State, United States of America. We major in Humanitarian activities (Refugee intervention), Education and Health and Human Development. We are looking for a highly motivated person to perform Social Worker duties. The person is to work directly with Refugees, IDPs, and locals to provide support to the organization that is related to the project while maintaining a sense of professionalism. Project description Education Sponsorship program for unprivileged kids (IDPs and local community kids). Collecting and developing standard data base Purchase and distribute monthly education supplies Follow-up to make sure the kids are progressing in their education and welfare Communication with sponsors and donors Reporting and future proposal and expansion Requirements: ➢ Education: Diploma or Bachelors in sociology will be preferred but (not the only option) ➢ Experience: 2 years of related experience preferably will be preferred but (not the only option) ➢ Extremely detail-oriented and with perfect follow-up skills. ➢ The ability to use standard software packages (Microsoft office and others) ➢ Basic Project Social Work ability ➢ Ability to organize tasks, research and keeping records. ➢ Ability to travel within KRG. ➢ Language skills: Kurdish, Arabic and (English is a must) ➢ Highly dependable and trustworthy: maintain confidentiality with access to extremely sensitive documents. ➢ Good communication service and relationship-building skills (Team working skills, Organization and time management skills, Flexibility) ➢ The ability to be proactive and use your initiative: to see what needs to be done and to do it ➢ The position is open only for female.
