Anton Oilfield Services Group is seeking a skilled and experienced HSE manager to join our dynamic team in Basra,Iraq. If you have a passion for Gas Treatment Facility and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you! 📌 Location: Iraq Siba Gas Field 📈 Positions Available: 1 🔹 Key Responsibilities: • Lead, schedule, supervise ERT/firefighters team (24/7 coverage, immediate response) • Develop/implement daily/weekly training (fire, rescue, Hazmat, EMS) • Conduct pre-shift briefings, equipment checks (vehicles/apparatus) • Instill discipline, safety, professionalism culture • Act as On-Scene Commander for fire/rescue emergencies (per ICS) • Make rapid, decisive tactical decisions (mitigate emergencies) • Coordinate with Control Room, Site Management, medical, security • Manage demobilization, post-incident recovery (equipment...) • Maintain/update emergency plans, procedures, maps • Conduct drills/exercises with ops/maintenance; provide critiques, track improvements • Perform inspections/risk assessments (identify hazards, ensure compliance) • Liaise with local fire dept, external services • Manage inspection, testing, PM for fire protection/response equipment: • Fire trucks, pumps, hose reels • Portable extinguishers, suppression systems • SCBA, PPE • Gas detection/monitoring equipment • Ensure firewater system is tested, operational • Maintain inventory/records for emergency equipment/consumables 🔹 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Response Readiness: 100% completion of equipment checks and drills; response time <5 minutes. • Incident Management: Effective command and control; positive drill evaluations. • Equipment Integrity: 100% availability of critical firefighting and rescue equipment. • Team Competency: All members certified and proficient in core skills. • Preparedness: All scheduled emergency drills completed and satisfactorily executed. 🔹 Qualifications • Diploma required; Associate's degree/certification preferred • 15+ years industrial fire/emergency experience; 5+ years supervisory/leadership • Proven Company Officer/Team Lead in petrochemical/oil & gas/major hazard facilities • Extensive hands-on: firefighting, technical rescue (confined space/high-angle), Hazmat response • Experience developing/conducting emergency response training • Mandatory: Pro Board/IFSAC certs (Fire Officer I/II, Fire Instructor I, Hazmat Tech, Incident Commander) • Mandatory: Valid NFPA 1081 or equivalent • Mandatory: Advanced First Aid, CPR/AED, technical rescue certs • Strong leadership, decision-making, composure under pressure • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills • Strong admin/report writing skills; fluent English required 📧 If you’re ready to take on this exciting opportunity and contribute to our team’s success, please send your CV to **[email protected]**.
