New Job Opening: Data Collector at Dorcas Aid International - Duhok, Iraq Dorcas Aid International is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team as Data Collectors in Duhok, Iraq. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to humanitarian and development initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable populations affected by conflict and displacement. Position: Data Collector Location: Duhok, Iraq Department: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Contract Type: Full-time Deadline: February 18th, 2025 Key Responsibilities: Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions to collect accurate data Ensure data quality and alignment with project objectives Engage with community members and stakeholders to explain data collection procedures Adhere to data protection protocols and confidentiality standards Report discrepancies and assist with data analysis when necessary Support logistical arrangements for data collection activities Required Qualifications: Minimum education: High school diploma (Diploma in social sciences or statistics is a plus) Previous data collection experience is preferred Proficiency in mobile data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, Microsoft Excel) Fluency in Kurdish (Badini) and Arabic, with English as an advantage Key Attributes: Strong communication and problem-solving skills Cultural sensitivity and flexibility to work in challenging conditions Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds Join us in making a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable communities!
