Job announcement: Job title: Lighting Design Engineering- planning Location: Erbil Company: Adham Group for Lighting Job summary : Lighting designers design and plan lighting and electrical systems while working in collaboration with interior designers, engineers, or architects and design products for residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Responsibilities: To work in collaboration with the Lighting Design Manager to provide exceptional service to the Sales Teams and Whitecroft Customer To assist Lighting Designers with technical queries and time-based issues related to project work - notifying the Lighting Design Manager of any serious concerns relate to technical or personal matters To provide support, communication and guidance on project design - ensuring to communicate estimated project return dates to the sales force To collect, organize, and provide technical direction to projects ready for assignment into the Lighting Design team. Technically assessing and evaluating all projects into the Lighting Design team To accurately plan estimated time against project work; effectively manage this onto the Lighting Design Planner for resource management purposes Continuously identify and effectively communicate ways to improve the lighting design service, by defining consistent ways of working To provide mentorship to Trainee Lighting Designers and New Lighting Designers within the team To aid on time-critical projects by assisting in a range of both internal and external design (Calculation and CAD) Experience and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field) from an accredited institution. • Minimum 6 years’ experience in electrical design of large infrastructure projects. • Prior experience working in a consultancy is essential. • Experience of working in Civil3D or other 3D software environment. • Extensive experience of working with ( Dialux -AutoCAD-Internal Design, Sketch-up software etc..)
