This key role requires an experienced engineer with a proven track record in overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Develop, implement, and manage the project’s quality management plan, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. B. Review and approve quality assurance and control procedures, including testing and inspection criteria. C. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. D. Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the team to resolve quality issues. E. Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and tests, and generate quality control reports. F. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards. G. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control best practices. H. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and liaise with regulatory authorities for inspections and certifications. I. Identify quality risks and develop strategies for mitigation. J. Manage non-conformance processes, investigating issues and implementing corrective actions. Qualifications and Education Requirements i. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field (required). ii. Certification in Quality Management or relevant construction industry certifications (preferred). iii. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Assurance Engineer on large-scale construction projects (required). iv. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. v. Proven track record of successful quality management on construction projects. vi. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar standards). Required Skills 1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey project goals, status, and expectations. 2. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts. 3. Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. 4. Effective problem-solving skills to identify and address issues. 5. Strong planning and organizational skills for developing detailed project plans and managing resources.
