Logistics Coordinator Vacancy Job Location: Baghdad Deadline for application: 15 Nov 2023 Company Description: ALMCO for Commercial Agencies Ltd. is an Iraqi company specializing in power generation and heavy-duty gas turbines services and Oil & Gas, founded in 2004. Our mission is to provide a full package of products, services, and maintenance solutions on heavy-duty gas turbines that improve their performance, availability, and reliability. Role Description This is a full-time onsite role based in Baghdad for a Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers and forwarders. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for supply chain management and analytical reporting to ensure efficient operations, and follow-up with suppliers and forwarders to ensure the shipments will be delivered on time. The logistic coordinator shall maintain the LC language and requirements with suppliers and forwarders to ensure all shipping documents are aligned. Qualifications • Analytical skills for reporting and data management • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Inventory Management skills for overseeing inventory levels and coordinating deliveries. • Supply Chain Management skills for managing the ordering process from suppliers to end users. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or related field. • 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory management. • Experience with Letter of Credit. • Experience with Iraqi customs regulations, governmental requirements, and shipping documents with its requirements. please submit your resume in English to the email address: [email protected]
