NASS AL-Iraq Holding Group- DTC is hiring a Software QِA/QC Tester Location: Baghdad – Al-Mansour- Work Of type: On-site not online or remotely Working Hours: 48 hours per week (from Saturday to Thursday) Job Summary This role is crucial in ensuring our software products are reliable, functional, and meet user expectations. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to design test plans, identify issues, and improve the quality of our software applications. Duties & responsibilities: Create, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans for software projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and load testing to ensure efficient and accurate test coverage. Perform manual testing on new and existing features, identifying bugs and ensuring software stability. Work closely with developers to understand the software’s functionality, design test cases, and integrate testing processes throughout the development lifecycle. Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Click up). Participate in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes to identify and implement improvements in testing efficiency and software quality. Support UAT processes and work with stakeholders to verify that software solutions meet business requirements and expectations. Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, processes, and results to support quality assurance practices and future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.. 2+ years specific Experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related role. Familiarity with API testing using Postman or RESTful services Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, PHP, C#) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Certifications: certifications in software testing.
