Hiring an Operations Manager in Baghdad to supervise dispatchers and courier teams, ensure KPIs are met, and manage overall operations.
We are hiring! Tamata is looking to hire an employee for the following position: - Operations Manager #مدير_عمليات Location: Baghdad Supervise dispatchers, hub operations team, customer service, coordinators & couriers to ensure that every shipment is picked and delivered within SLA. Responsibilities: • Responsible for overall operational management and performance of Hub and delivery operations. • Assign delivery to couriers according to schedules and route plans. • Ensure that the process and employees are working smoothly and efficiently. • Achieve KPI & SLA of delivery & pickup commitment. • Supervise staff to ensure that safety best practices are being followed while handling shipments. • Evaluate all aspects of employee performance and provide coaching or discipline as needed. • Provide operations staff with guidance and support to cope with volume growth. • Reassign responsibilities based on change in volumes or geography. Requirements • 3 - 5 years supervisory / management experience in similar environment • Demonstrated leadership abilities • Previous experience with courier / express / parcel delivery company • Comfortable with using MS Office and technology tools. • Strong knowledge of courier operations process • Verbal and written communication skills (Arabic and English) • Ability to work under pressure • Time Management • Problem Solving • Process Improvement • Knowledge of proper freight handling/loading techniques • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations & management • Strong interpersonal skills to create conditions for cooperation and high standards of performance from subordinates to ensure targets and KPIs are met • Strong organizational skills How to Apply: To be considered for this position, please send your resume to [email protected] or send us a direct message to our LinkedIn account no later than October 30th, 2023
