The Warehouse and Procurement Officer handles inventory control, procurement activities, supplier coordination, and maintains warehouse safety and records. Requires university degree or diploma and experience in warehouse or procurement.
We're Hiring: Warehouse & Procurement Officer Location: Candidates must reside in Arbat, Halabja, or Sulaymaniyah Gender: Male & Female Schedule: 6 days/week, 8.5 hours/day Reports to: General Manager Job Summary: The Warehouse & Procurement Officer is responsible for inventory control, receiving and issuing materials, warehouse organization, stock monitoring, procurement activities, supplier coordination, and maintaining workplace safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Functions • Receive, inspect, verify, store, and issue materials. • Monitor inventory and report discrepancies or damages. • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock organization. • Prepare, pack, and coordinate outgoing shipments. • Maintain accurate warehouse records and daily reports. • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe. • Manage disposal and recycling of surplus materials. Procurement Functions • Source and purchase goods and materials. • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers. • Process purchase orders and track deliveries. • Resolve order issues, delays, or discrepancies. • Maintain procurement records and compliance. • Monitor inventory levels and reorder when needed. • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Mechanical, and Electrical departments. • Prepare expense and monthly inventory reports. • Attend meetings, trainings, and perform assigned duties. Requirements • University Degree or Diploma. • Experience in warehouse or procurement roles preferred. • Chemical or sulfuric acid manufacturing experience is an advantage. • Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations. • Good computer skills. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Team-oriented and adaptable. • Knowledge of workplace safety and regulations. • Fluent in Arabic and English.
