Istar Groups is Hiring: Android Developer Location: Erbil, Kurdistan Region Work type: On-site Employment: Full-time At Istar Groups, we're looking for an Android developer who cares about clean, maintainable code and enjoys building modern apps across phones and TV. You'll join a team that's all-in on Jetpack Compose and moving toward multiplatform development. What you'll do Build and maintain Android apps using Jetpack Compose and Compose for TV Design features with solid architecture using MVVM and MVI patterns Write clean, testable, well-structured code and take part in code reviews Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA to ship high-quality features Help improve performance, stability, and the overall user experience What we're looking for 2+ years of professional Android development experience Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose Solid understanding of MVVM and MVI architecture A strong commitment to code quality: readable code, sensible structure, and good practices Proficiency in Kotlin, coroutines, and Flow Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows Nice to have Experience with Compose for TV / Android TV development Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) and Compose Multiplatform (CMP) Experience with dependency injection (Hilt, Koin) Experience writing unit and integration tests How to apply Send your CV and a link to your GitHub or portfolio (if you have one) to [email protected] with the subject line "Intermediate Android Developer". #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
