Basra-based company is hiring an experienced Lead Subcontracts Engineer with over 8 years' experience in EPC/EPCM projects, fluent in English and Arabic.
🇮🇶 Iraq National / Basra only 🚨 URGENT HIRING – EPCM PROJECT (BASRA) 🚨 We’re excited to be looking for an experienced Lead Subcontracts Engineer to join our project team in Basra. Location: Basra, Iraq Eligibility: Iraqi nationals preferred Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time (Iraqi Labor Law) Rotation: 6 days on / 1 day off Salary: Competitive ✅ What You’ll Be Doing Lead subcontract strategy, tendering, and award process Prepare bid packages, scopes of work, and commercial terms Evaluate proposals and support negotiations Manage subcontracts from award to closeout Handle variations, claims, and change orders Monitor subcontractor performance and HSSEQ compliance Work closely with construction, engineering, QA/QC & HSE teams Identify risks and support dispute resolution ✅ What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, QS, Law, or Commercial Management 8+ years’ experience in EPC/EPCM subcontract management Strong background in Oil & Gas or industrial projects Experience in Iraq is a big plus Confident negotiator with strong communication skills Good knowledge of contract administration Fluent in English & Arabic Nice to Have (Not Mandatory): MRICS / FRICS, CCMP, PMP, and FIDIC Certification Send your CV to [email protected] Subject: Job Application – Lead Subcontracts Engineer
