Career Opportunity: Accounting Manager 🔹 Company: Jusur Al-Zaman Jusur Al-Zaman Company is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the company’s financial operations across its diversified investment portfolio, including industrial, real estate, and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s sustainable growth and expansion. 📍 Location: Al-Yarmouk – Baghdad ⏰ Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM 📅 Working Days: Saturday to Thursday 💰 Salary: Competitive package based on qualifications and experience Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all business units. • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial closing processes. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards. • Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements. • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk. • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. • Provide financial insights and reports to senior management to support investment decisions and business growth. • Manage financial operations related to industrial projects, real estate investments, and commercial properties. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). • 7 to 12 years of professional experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. • Solid knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations. • Experience in industrial, real estate, or investment sectors is highly preferred. • Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP software. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
