AlsardFiber is hiring a Power Team Leader to design, develop, and manage renewable power technologies. Responsibilities include preparing reports, negotiating with fuel providers, conducting site inspections, and managing telecom power equipment. Candidates should have a background in engineering and proficiency in English and Kurdish.
Hiring - Announcement ( Power Team Leader ) Company / AlsardFiber (Internet & fiber service provider) Position / Power Team Leader City / Erbil Job title of direct manager / Branch manager, power supervisor Job Summary / Power engineers can have an extremely varied workload, depending on the sector they are in or the individual project they are working on. Responsibilities/ • provide weekly, monthly regular reports also root cause reports after each incident. • Being part of designing, developing, and building renewable power technologies. • Combining renewable power production with existing power systems. • Arranging new supplies and negotiating tariffs with fuel providers. • Carrying out site inspections and power surveys. • Designing and selecting equipment. • Using mathematical and computer models to carry out design and specification calculations. • Carrying out lab experiments and adapting them to large-scale industrial processes. • Preparing detailed schedules of work, feasibility studies, and cost estimates. • Checking site and ground conditions for the installation of renewable technologies, such as wind turbines. • Responsible for performance and prepare telecom power equipment fire system, UPS, Inverter, Rectifier, MDB board, Diesel Generator, Air conditioner, and environment monitoring system. • Negotiating service agreements and managing associated costs and revenues. • Contributing to sustainable power initiatives and researching new power methods. • Monitoring new technologies or applications, and developing performance indicators. • Developing technical expertise in all matters to do with power and environmental control. • Support Transmission team in urgent cases. Requirements/ • Academic qualification: Electrical engineering or Computer engineering. • More than 2 - years of experience in this field. • Language: (Kurdish, Arabic, and English). • Experience verifying complex ASICs. Experience working at the SOC full-chip level. • Knowledge of CAD, dialux evo, and plc software. • Doman-specific knowledge in Power Management space is not strictly required but is strongly desired • Experience with 3rd party verification IP is expected • Knowledge about OB lights and Grounding systems for specific equipment and telecom towers.
