MISS: Master Electrician Supervisor (Contingency Hire) – Iraq Company: KBR Program: MISS – U.S. Department of State Support Location: Baghdad, Iraq Employment: Full Time (Contingent on Award) Deadline: 14 March 2026 An elite Master Electrician Supervisor is required to lead medium-voltage power distribution, preventive maintenance, and system reliability for mission-critical U.S. facilities. The role demands advanced technical authority, regulatory compliance, and decisive leadership in complex environments. Key Responsibilities Ensure operational integrity of the 11kV grid, transformers, UPS, and protection systems Conduct PMs, oil sampling, thermal imaging, testing, and reporting Diagnose faults, interpret schematics, and implement ANSI / IEEE / IEC standards Support load balancing and coordinate outages with the power plant Maintain switchgear, ATS units, PLC interfaces, and MV instrumentation Control spare parts readiness and site custodianship Uphold Environmental Health, Safety, and QA compliance Provide technical direction and support to LV teams when required Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED Completion of apprenticeship with a Master Electrician License recognized by a U.S. state Minimum 5 years of MV operations & maintenance experience Proven expertise in MV cable systems, terminations, and testing Ability to work in confined spaces and demanding conditions U.S. citizenship with valid passport and driver’s license Active Secret clearance or MRPT required https://careers.kbr.com/us/en/job/R2118722/MISS-Master-Electrician-Supervisor-Contingency-Hire
