The Sales and Stock Analyst will compile and analyze sales and market data to provide insights for promotional and sales activities. Responsibilities include predicting company earnings, advising on stock sales/purchases, coordinating data extraction, and supporting senior analysts in investment evaluations. Candidates should have strong analytical and communication skills.
The sales and Stock analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide our promotional and sales activities. Job Responsibilities · Utilize data analysis to predict the future earnings of the company and advice management/clients on whether to make stock sales or purchase decision · Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats · Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organization as a whole · Provide support to senior stock analysts and portfolio managers in the evaluation of current and potential investments that align with the qualitative investment criteria of the fund · Performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the team to prioritizes deliverables, and negotiate on product functionalities · Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation · Support and execute evaluation annual reports, quarterly conference calls, etc. · Evaluate variables such as regulatory actions and changing industry dynamics that may impact on the stocks of the company/clients · Forecast the levels of demand for services and products, to meet budget and keep a constant check on stock levels · Load the data from different databases, interpret, analyze and explain the result · Responsible for developing and updating economic and valuation models and other statistical analyses · Responsible for stock screening to find undervalued companies and conduct initial research and write-ups on companies · Inventory, replenishment and collection from accounts · Participate in industry conference, annual general meetings, and other events as needed. Requirements · Education: Applicants are required to have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree to work as a sales and stock analyst. · Knowledge: It is essential to have strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze balance sheets, parsing footnotes, and value companies. · Also, applicants should be knowledgeable in equity investment strategies and valuation methodologies. · Research skills: The sales and stock analyst job requires that they research stocks of companies and other variables that may affect the profitability of the proposed and existing investment. · Computer skills · Applicants should be detail-oriented with demonstrated interest in public equity investing · Communication skills: They should possess outstanding writing and verbal communication skills necessary to work in a team environment.
