Responsibilities include establishing financial policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing financial data, and managing the finance team. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and 6+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, are required.
Job Title: Finance and Accounting Lead Job Location: Erbil We are hiring a Finance and Accounting Lead in Erbil. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and enforce internal policies to protect organizational assets. - Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, taxation requirements, and relevant regulations. - Analyze financial data t identify trends and resolve inconsistencies. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning efforts. - Handle the general ledger, ensuring accurate and prompt completion of month-end and year-end closures. - Lead the finance and accounting team to achieve departmental goals. - Supervise the preparation of key financial documents such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. - Manage receivables, payables, payroll, and reconciliation of bank statements. - Ensure all tax obligations, audits, and regulatory filings are completed on time. Qualifications & Requirements: -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. -Experience: 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. -Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting, tax regulations, and financial reporting. -Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
