Negotiating, writing and executing agreements and contracts on behalf of the company 2. Offering counsel on a variety of legal issue 3. Advising executives within the company 4. Working alongside other departments within the company 5. Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals 6. Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company 7. Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements 8. Providing training to the company on legal topics Qualifications 1. Fluency in English is a MUST! 2. Must have a law degree 3. Must be admitted to the Kurdistan Bar Association 4. Must have 2+ years of experience gained in large law firm and/or in-house with major firm 5. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization 6. Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues 7. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization’s legal department and across all businesses 8.
