The Operations Specialist will manage travel bookings, client support, and administrative tasks for AsiaAir. Experience in travel agencies or tourism is required.
We are hiring (Operations Specialist) For AsiaAir, Located in Sulaimaniyah, Iraq. Key Goal Responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of travel operations—including booking, ticketing, and client support—while maintaining high customer satisfaction, minimizing errors, and supporting Asia Air’s commitment to quality service and operational excellence. Roles and Responsibilities - Coordinate travel bookings, itineraries, and client requests. - Process visa applications and travel documentation. - Manage daily communication with clients, airlines, and partner agencies. - Performs administrative tasks related to bookings and operations. - Solve travel-related problems efficiently and professionally. - Collaborate with the sales department to plan and sell transportation, accommodation, insurance and other travel services. - Handle client inquiries, determine their needs and advise them on their destination, transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations. - Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, and supplier communications. - Achieve the department's targeted objectives and KPIs. Experience and qualification necessary to perform the job - Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a travel agency, or tourism. - Good knowledge of computer reservation systems, and GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo). - Strong time management skills. - Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - Very good communication skills in Kurdish, Arabic, and English languages. - Customer service-oriented and able to work under pressure.
