Job Announcement: Procurement Clerk Department: SCED / Procurement Reports directly to: Procurement Manager We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Clerk. This position will be responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and carrying out data entry for centralized purchasing activities within the department. Under the general supervision of the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient procurement operations. Main Tasks & Accountabilities: • Perform data entry input on a computer to record data and establish purchase orders and other necessary purchasing documents. • Prepare local procurement payment processes and relevant documents to be sent to the supply chain finance admin. • Audit all local documentations such as PR, GR, PO, etc., and ensure they comply with procurement procedures. • Monitor local procurement reports, ensuring accurate and proper recording. • Maintain proper organization of all documents on the server for easy tracking and reference. • Execute purchasing on a local and/or international basis to ensure familiarity with procurement assignments and communication protocols. • Keep procurement procedures and policies updated as per instructions from the department head or supply chain head. • Prepare documents to be sent to the supply chain finance admin. • Audit documentations and ensure compliance with procurement procedures. • Monitor procurement reports and ensure accurate and proper recording. • Maintain proper organization of all documents on specific servers for easy tracking and reference. • Keep the procurement procedures and policies updated as per instructions from the Procurement Manager. Requirements: • Education Level: Minimum - High school diploma or Diploma; Preferred - Bachelor's degree. • Licenses: A light vehicle driving license may be required. • Work Experience: At least 2/4 years in procurement or related aspects with a wide range of experiences.
