Job title: Practical Nurse (Medical Service Provider) Location: Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Geriatric Home Employment type: Full-time position (a probationary period of three months is included) 1. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning. -Monitor and observe and report any changes in residents' health status, and initiate appropriate interventions. -Document all nursing interventions, observations, and changes in residents' conditions accurately and promptly. -Ensure residents have a safe and secure environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. -Provide emotional support and counseling to residents and their families, fostering a positive and comforting environment. -Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' health status and document relevant information. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' health records, care plans, and progress notes. -Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, infection control measures, and organizational policies and procedures. -Identify and respond promptly to emergencies, providing appropriate first aid and notifying the appropriate personnel. 2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -Diploma in nursing and possessing a valid practical nurse license. -A valid nursing license to practice nursing (Registered in the nursing syndicate). 3.
