The Project Officer will manage and monitor livelihoods projects, including Cash-for-Work (CfW), vocational training, and business support for MSMEs and start-ups. The role requires strong analytical, reporting, and writing skills, along with experience in Quality Control and Assurance. Fluency in Arabic and Kurdish, with working knowledge of English, is required.

Job Announcement Position Information: - Position: Project Officer - Location: Sinjar Area - Ninewa Governorate - Period and Duration of the assignment/Services: 6 Months - Start date: January 1st, 2022 Academic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in any area of knowledge, preferably in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Sciences, Engineering. Years of Experience: - Minimum 3 years of professional experience, specifically in monitoring and following up the implementation of livelihoods projects, including CfW, vocational training, and business support including MSMEs and Start-up Support. Experience in communications is an asset. - Good interpersonal skills; experience in building and maintaining professional relationships with a multi-disciplinary range of actors. - Communication and Problems Solving Skills: ability to interact and solve issues that might arise in the field between different partners. - Good decision-making skills. Technical Skills: - Proven ability to plan and prioritize work activities and strong analytical, reporting and writing skill as well as field monitoring skills and project management. - Proven experience in Quality Control and Assurance of livelihoods projects. - Previous experience with a similar assignment implemented by UN and (I)NGOs would be an asset.
