Job Location: Iraq -Erbil Company: Eagle Crown Holding Job Title: Finance Manager This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager at Eagle Crown Holding located in Erbil. The Finance Manager role involves managing the financial health of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. Job Responsibilities: 1. Financial Planning and Analysis: • Establish and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems. • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets. • Conduct financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. • Provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems. 2. Budgeting and Cost Management: • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. • Monitor and analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions. • Manage cost control measures to ensure efficient use of company resources. • Implement cost-saving initiatives and track their effectiveness. 3. Financial Reporting: • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports. • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards. • Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. • Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time financial performance monitoring. 4. Tax and Compliance: • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation. 5. Team Leadership and Development: • With HR Dept. Recruit, train, and manage a finance team. • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations. • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance. • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. 6. Strategic Financial Guidance: • Provide insights and recommendations to support business strategy. • Participate in strategic planning and business development activities. • Support fundraising activities, including investor relations and presentations. • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take. Education & qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications such as CPA or CFA is a plus Experience: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance managerial role, with a proven track record of setting up financial processes. • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
