THE ROLE Job title: Secondary Stage Mathematics Teacher Working hours: Full Time (32.5 hours/week) Contract term: Fixed Term Location: Sulaymaniyah Heights Sulaymaniyah Deadline: 15th September 2024 Salary: TBD Start date: ASAP Job reference: SSICTT2425 JOB DESCRIPTION • Teaching ICT to 15-to-19-year-old students • Developing lesson plans in line with the Cambridge curriculum objectives • Facilitating learning by establishing a relationship with students and creating a positive learning environment in the classroom • Organising the classroom and learning resources • Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive students’ development • Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students' development • Providing feedback to parents or careers on students' progress • Organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • BSc in Computer Science or ICT • At least two years of teaching experience • Passion for teaching • Excellent command of English • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills • Professionalism DESIRABLE • Experience in working with and/or teaching students aged 12-18 • Experience in teaching secondary stage ICT • Native English Speaker • Any other academic qualification such as MSc, PGCE, or PGDE • Teacher training qualifications • English language tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, or CPE HOW TO APPLY • Email a CV and a cover letter to: [email protected] NOTE You need to state the job reference in your cover letter and in the subject line of your email. #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
